
My name is Chelsea and I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Conditioning Coach, a Sports Nutrition Coach, as well as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. More importantly than that though, I am someone who spent years of my young adult life trying to gain a positive relationship with my body and with food. Growing up, the narrative for women was to be smaller with every single tabloid, TV show and gossip magazine being tailored around how women looked. When I was younger, I only saw people in my life exercise or diet because they hated something about their body and wanted to change. There was never any exercise because they enjoyed it or because they wanted to be stronger - the narrative was you exercise to be smaller. The same is with nutrition. Every recipe was "low fat" or "low calorie" and never focused on being nutrient dense, high protein and satiating. Every snack was marketed as low calorie with the aim to lose weight, without any focus on quality ingredients or fuelling reflecting your goals.
It is my goal as a coach to shift the narrative. My goal is to help clients take a wholistic look at their life, and make small but lasting realistic adjustments that will lead to overall wellness. I fully believe that fitness and nutrition is a completely individual process, and by beginning with a high level approach and then narrowing in on attainable alterations to be made, that is what will lead to and overall lifestyle change.

Strength training is essential for building muscle, burning fat, improving overall health, preventing injuries and maintaining independence as we age. I will work with you to develop a strength training program that fits your goals and abilities, but more importantly I will educate you on how to progress.
Whether working through an acute or chronic injury, I will build and structure a strategic program that focuses on recovery, mobility and strength for injury rehabilitation and prevention.
Mobility and core strength are both pillars when it comes to overall health and moving well, but can often be neglected in a program. Core and mobility work can be a stand alone program, or will work in tandem with a strength training program.
Cardio and endurance training are important for building stamina and improving overall health. I will design a cardio and endurance training program that will help you reach your fitness goals.
With a Nutrition program, I will educate you not only on what you should be fuelling your body with, but how these macronutrients play a vital role in reaching your goals of overall health.
My approach to nutrition coaching is made for longevity and sustainability. I work closely with clients and look at their current nutrition habits and educate on not only what changes are to be made, but more importantly why these changes make a difference.
